SQLiaison, Business Intelligence Experts, announces that it has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with Netezza Corporation to make FellowDSS available on the Netezza Performance Server® Data Warehouse Appliance.
FellowDSSTM, SQLiaison's Business Intelligence platform for the Insurance Industry, is currently in production at several major Canadian Insurance companies. At these and other insurance sites, the growing trend towards Very Large Data Bases (VLDB) requires a new class of database appliances to meet the stringent performance requirements of Enterprise Insurance Reporting and Analytics.
The combination of FellowDSS and the Netezza Performance Server ensures that customers are able to fully transform their data into meaningful business information assets in a predictable and efficient manner. The decreased data to information cycle time that the Performance Server brings to FellowDSS only translates into quick, information based business decisions for Insurers. Early tests have demonstrated an increase in performance of up to 200% on certain class of queries against the FellowDSSTM V3.5 Insurance Data Model.
