CORPORATE MEMORY - THE FUTURE OF BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Philippe Torres, President of SQLiaison, presented at the 2007 Salon du BI a conference on the future of business intelligence. This conference was a reflexion on a possible corporate memory management model. The most valuable assets of companies are now the knowledge of the employees and not what they produce. Preserving an heritage of information and knowledge and making it available for futur decision makers requires more than just data and information. It requires different approaches to the managing of knowledge, data and processes.
