AVIVA COMPLETING AN ORGANIZATION-WIDE ROLL-OUT OF FELLOWDSSTM INSURANCE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE REPORTING SYSTEM
Insurer Aviva Canada Inc. has reached a milestone in its implementation of the FellowDSS data reporting system supplied by business intelligence solutions provider SQLiaison.
After an initial stabilization period involving 60 users, the system is being released to authorised individuals across the organization under the terms of an unlimited user license agreement.
Aviva’s existing legacy reporting application failed to meet emerging management information needs, was costly to maintain and could not consolidate information from new insurance company acquisitions. Management sees the crossover to FellowDSS as helping unlock the value of its business intelligence.
"The information provided by FellowDSS is essentially mission-critical to our organization for decision making and pricing. Our internal customers want a robust application that can meet their informational needs,” says VP Information Management Services Gerry Lee. “FellowDSS is measuring up to these demands and as a result significantly more users are being provided access to the MINDS (Management Information "and" Data Solutions) system built using FellowDSS.”
